A cylindrical scattering tube built for ceremony rather than storage: the outer tube holds the ash bag upright, and the inner sleeve slides out so the ash is released gradually instead of all at once. The body is moulded plant fiber with a paper outer wrap, so the whole unit can go into water or be left at a scattering site without leaving plastic behind. Interior is 3 inches by 12 inches — 85 cubic inches raw and about 64 usable, for pets up to roughly 40 lbs. Popular with crematoriums that offer a scattering service and with online sellers bundling a tube with a wooden urn for families who plan to scatter part of the ash. Ships flat-packed twelve per carton to keep freight cost down; assembly is a two-piece press fit with no tools.
